Best kids menu in town, according to my 7 year old son! The kids meal includes a drink which makes it a great deal compared to other local restaurants we have been to. The whole menu has a variety of items to choose from. You could get a burger, ribs, salad, tacos or even enchiladas. Best salsa and best chips I've ever had, anywhere.

I haven't been to a Chilis in years.... But we ended up at this one in Traverse City as my 2 year old nephew was hungry and we had no time to find a quaint local restaurant. I was surprised how how the prices were for the quality of food. They were accommodating with having a 2 year old eating there as it is very family friendly. The server was nice and even brought us an extra refill of milk. I thought the wait to receive our food was too long considering the restaurant was not that filled when we ate Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the Southwest Egg rolls but the 6 pieces did not seem like an adequate amount for an appetizer. I ordered the Choose 3 tacos and picked the shrimp, pork and fish. They were just ok... I did like the slice of avocado on each one. The meal and Rice were bland... Nothing to write home about. Everyone else enjoyed their food. My sister had the Chipolte Chicken Fresh Mex bowl. My nephew loved his kid'a cheese quesadilla but I thought $4.99 was too high for that. This visit reminded me why I don't like chain restaurants....

Fresh, fast, and friendly. Just like most other Chilis, except the service was above standard. Also the seasonal Watermelon Lemonade was delicious, made with fresh watermelon.

Well this was not my first choice for my birthday but it was closer to the mall . Dinner started off looking good until my husband got sick at the movies and I was sick the next day. March 1st 2014 birthday sucked should have stayed with Red Mesa Grill.

Chili's is over priced for quality of food service and atmosphere. Since old man chili's passed chili's isn't the same

Chili's gets more and more overpriced every time I go in there. Seriously. It's getting a little out of hand. Especially when I can turn the corner, hit any other corporate giant and find basically the exact same menu for three or four dollars cheaper. My advice would be this: Unless you are going in for Chili's ribs (which I've never had, but heard a super good)- don't go to Chili's. You're better off making food at home, anyway. If you're in TC, and want to find a good place to eat, drive downtown, find Bubba's, and have one of the burgers, or the flaming potato pizzeta. Or, drive to Poppycock's or TraVino, or anywhere other than this place, because really, you're just not getting you money's worth here.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
